Prerequisites
Steps
Translate a single metadata item
- Open the Metadata Translator section from the navigation bar.
- Select your Org Credential and target language (the source language is predefined in Salesforce).
- In the metadata list, click the action on the desired row.

Translate multiple metadata items
- Check the boxes for the rows you want to translate.
- The Translate button appears above the list.
- Click Translate to process all selected items.

What to expect
- Translation speed depends on the number of items and the translation engine you are using.
- Translated values appear in the target language column next to the source text.
- You can edit any translation manually after the engine finishes.
- Translations are not deployed automatically — you control when to push them to Salesforce.
Troubleshooting
- If translations are not appearing, confirm a translation engine is selected and the target language is set.
- If translations look incorrect, check your Glossary settings or try a different translation engine.
- If the translate action is greyed out, confirm metadata has been retrieved for the selected org credential.
