Description

The Retrieve Metadata feature pulls the latest translatable content from a connected Salesforce org into SimpleTranslate. Retrieved metadata becomes available in the Metadata Translator for translation, review, and deployment.

Prerequisites

• Your org is connected in SimpleTranslate. Create Salesforce Org Credentials

Retrieve from Metadata Translator

1. Open the Metadata Translator section from the navigation bar.
2. In the credentials table, select the action in the desired credential row.

Retrieve from Org Credentials

1. Open the Org Credentials section from the navigation bar.
2. Navigate to the Credentials table.
3. Select the action in the desired credential row.

Select metadata

• Select the metadata you want to retrieve.
• Retrieval can take up to 15 minutes, depending on the amount of metadata.
• You will be notified once metadata retrieval is complete.
• You can adjust how notifications are sent in your Notification Settings.
