Description
Manage Limits provides usage tracking and token management for SimpleTranslate Translation Workbench and SimpleT AI Components. It covers token consumption, engine multipliers, and usage monitoring.

Accessing Usage Limits
The limits panel includes two separate tracking systems: one for SimpleTranslate Translation Workbench and one for SimpleT AI Components. Use the dropdown to switch between services.

Simple Translation Workbench
Efficiently track and manage token usage across translation services, so you can plan capacity and stay within your organization’s limits.
Overview
Token history shows how many tokens were used and how many remain. Usage is calculated from the character count and a service‑specific multiplier.
Key features
- Tracks token usage across translation services.
- Shows usage trends to help you monitor consumption over time.
- Helps you allocate resources effectively across teams and projects.
How tokens are calculated
Total tokens consumed = Character count × Multiplier
Engine multipliers
- AWS: 0.75 (example: 100 characters → 75 tokens)
- Chat‑GPT: 1.5 (example: 100 characters → 150 tokens)
- DeepL: 1 (example: 100 characters → 100 tokens)
- Google Translate: 1 (example: 100 characters → 100 tokens)
Limits and extra tokens
- Your organization has predefined token limits for translations.
- If the regular token balance runs out, the system automatically uses extra tokens, if available.
- If neither regular nor extra tokens are available, the translation request fails and an error is shown.
- Token overages and extra token usage are logged for transparency and auditing.
Dashboard highlights
- Monthly token usage overview.
- Remaining token balance at a glance.
- Token history and usage details for accountability.
