Description
The Experience Cloud import process brings Salesforce Experience Builder site pages and components into SimpleTranslate for translation. The workflow covers prerequisite configuration, file export from Experience Builder, and upload into SimpleTranslate.

Prerequisite
Enable Digital Experiences
- Go to Setup.
- In the Quick Find box, search for Digital Experiences.
- Click Digital Experiences Settings.
- Select Enable Digital Experiences.
- Choose a domain name for your experiences.
- Click Save.
Important: Once the domain name is set, it cannot be changed.
Verify Digital Experiences Is Enabled
- Go to Setup.
- Search for All Sites.
- Confirm that the All Sites page is visible.
- Click New to create a site (if needed).
Additional Requirements
To use Digital Experiences, the following must also be configured:
- My Domain must be deployed.
- The user must have the appropriate profile or permission set (for example, access to create or manage Digital Experiences).
Steps to Import Experience Cloud Content
Export from Salesforce

Go to Salesforce > Feature Settings > Digital Experiences > All Site (which shows All Digital Experiences/All Sites)
Case 1: If a site is already created, click on Builder from Actions.
Case 2: If a site is not created, click the New button, choose a template, enter Name and URL, press Create, save the file, and click on Builder.

- Click Settings from the side menu.
- Click Languages.
- If you have not added site languages, click Add Languages > Add Site Languages (by selecting and clicking the right icon) > Click Save.
- Click Export Content.
- Select all the languages from the list that you want to export.
- Add a file name in the input box.
- Click Export.
Note: XLF file is generated for Lightning Web Runtime Framework and XML is generated for Aura Framework. SimpleTranslate supports both file types.

Upload to SimpleTranslate
- Go to the Experience Cloud section in SimpleTranslate from the left navigation bar.
- Click Import File to upload the file generated from the previous step.
- Choose your file.
- Enter a file name and environment name.
- Click Upload.
Note: Languages are automatically detected from your file.
