What this feature does
SimpleT Record AI provides the following capabilities:
- Improving field content – makes text clearer, more professional, and better structured.
- Translating field values – converts field content into other languages.
- Saving time – reduces manual rewriting and translation.
- Maintaining consistency – keeps record content professional and standardized.
- Supporting multiple fields – processes several fields at once.
How to use SimpleT Record AI
SimpleT Record AI appears as a section on your record pages, such as Account, Case, Lead, or Contact.
Basic usage steps
- View current fields
- The component loads the fields configured by your administrator.
- You see the current values for each field.
- If fields look empty, they may not have content yet, or you may not have permission to see them.
- Choose your action
- AI Optimize – improves clarity and tone.
- Translate – translates content into another language.
- Manual edit – you can always change values yourself.
- Review results
- After using AI, review the suggested changes.
- Original content is preserved so you can see what changed.
- Make additional edits if needed.
- Save changes
- If an Update button is shown, click it to save.
- In some setups, changes might save automatically.

Using AI features
AI Optimize – making your content better
What it does:
Takes existing field content and makes it clearer, more professional, and easier to read.
When to use it:
- When notes or descriptions should sound more professional.
- To clarify technical information.
- To standardize tone across many records.
- When you want complex information to be easier to understand.
How to use it:
- Make sure fields have content.
- Click AI Optimize.
- Wait while the AI processes the content.
- Review the improved version.
- Make final edits.
- Save your changes.
Translate – converting to different languages
What it does:
Translates field content from one language to another while keeping the meaning.
When to use it:
- To communicate with customers in their language.
- To keep multilingual versions of records.
- When working with international teams or clients.
- To support global operations.
How to use it:
- Fields and languages are configured by your administrator.
- Click Translate.
- Wait for translation to complete.
- Review the translated content.
- The translated values appear based on field mapping set by your administrator.
- Save your changes.
Manual editing
You can always edit fields directly:
- Click in any field to edit its content.
- Type your changes.
- The component tracks your edits.
- Save when finished.
Understanding field mapping
SimpleT Record AI can update fields in two ways.
Same-field updates
- AI improves content directly in the same field.
- Example: optimizing the Description field updates it in place.
Field-to-field translation
- Content from one field is translated and saved into a different field.
- Example: English Company Description is translated into a Spanish Company Description field.
- This lets you keep both original and translated versions.
The exact field mappings are configured by your administrator. You do not need to manage this yourself.
Step-by-step examples
Example 1: Improving an Account description
Situation: An Account has a basic description that should sound more professional.
- Original: “This company makes software and they’re pretty good at it. They have about 100 employees.”
