SimpleT Feedback is a component that collects user ratings on AI generated content through thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. It supports optional detailed feedback to help improve AI quality across all SimpleT features.

Use these guides before relying on the Feedback Component:
What this feature does
The Feedback Component appears next to AI-generated content and supports the following actions:
- Rate AI responses — Indicate whether the AI performed well or needs improvement.
- Provide detailed feedback — Share specific suggestions when a result did not meet expectations.
- Improve AI quality — Submitted feedback directly contributes to AI feature improvements.
- Give quick ratings — Express satisfaction with a single click.

Where you will see feedback buttons
The feedback component appears after AI-generated content in different places, such as:
- AI Translation – after text is translated into another language.
- AI Optimization – after AI improves your writing or content.
- Case Comments – after AI helps create or improve case responses.
- Record fields – after AI enhances field content.
- Email assistance – after AI helps compose or improve emails.
Look for small thumbs up and thumbs down buttons – that is the Feedback Component.
How to use the Feedback Component
Giving positive feedback (like)
When to use: When the AI did exactly what you wanted or clearly made things better.
Steps:
- Find the thumbs up button under the AI-generated content.
- Click the thumbs up button once.
- The button highlights to show your choice was recorded.
- You see a success message such as “Thank you for your feedback!”.
That is all. Your positive feedback is recorded and used to reinforce good behavior from the AI.
Giving negative feedback (dislike)
When to use: When the AI did not help, made mistakes, or made things worse.
Depending on how your administrator configured the component, you may see one of two behaviors.
Option 1: Quick dislike (no questions asked)
- Click the thumbs down button.
- The button highlights and feedback is sent immediately.
- You see a success message confirming that your feedback was recorded.
Option 2: Detailed feedback (pop-up window)
- Click the thumbs down button.
- A window opens asking “What specifically did not you like?”.
- Type your specific feedback in the text box.
- Click Submit Feedback to send your comments.
- The window closes and you see a confirmation.
Your detailed feedback is very valuable. The more specific you are, the easier it is to improve the AI.
Step-by-step examples
Example 1: AI translation worked great
Situation: You used AI to translate an email from English to Spanish, and the translation is perfect.
Steps:
- Read the Spanish translation.
- Confirm it sounds natural and captures your meaning.
- Click the thumbs up button below the translation.
- See the button highlight.
- See the confirmation message.
Result: The AI is reinforced that this kind of translation is successful.
Example 2: AI optimization removed important details
Situation: You asked AI to improve your case notes, but it removed key information.
Steps:

Review the AI’s improved version.

Notice that important customer details are missing.

“AI removed important details about the customer’s specific product issue.”

When to give negative feedback
- The AI made your task harder instead of easier.
- The AI introduced errors or incorrect information.
- The AI missed the point of what you were trying to do.
- Results were clearly worse than doing the task manually.
Writing helpful negative feedback
- Be specific – “Translation used the wrong verb tense” is more useful than “Translation is bad”.
- Explain context – “For customer emails, tone should be more friendly.”
- Suggest improvements – “Should preserve bullet points in the formatting.”
- Focus on patterns – “AI consistently removes important dates from the text.”
