How to use the Feedback Component

Giving positive feedback (like)

When to use: When the AI did exactly what you wanted or clearly made things better.

Steps:

  1. Find the thumbs up button under the AI-generated content.
  2. Click the thumbs up button once.
  3. The button highlights to show your choice was recorded.
  4. You see a success message such as “Thank you for your feedback!”.

That is all. Your positive feedback is recorded and used to reinforce good behavior from the AI.

Giving negative feedback (dislike)

When to use: When the AI did not help, made mistakes, or made things worse.

Depending on how your administrator configured the component, you may see one of two behaviors.

Option 1: Quick dislike (no questions asked)

  1. Click the thumbs down button.
  2. The button highlights and feedback is sent immediately.
  3. You see a success message confirming that your feedback was recorded.

Option 2: Detailed feedback (pop-up window)

  1. Click the thumbs down button.
  2. A window opens asking “What specifically did not you like?”.
  3. Type your specific feedback in the text box.
  4. Click Submit Feedback to send your comments.
  5. The window closes and you see a confirmation.

Your detailed feedback is very valuable. The more specific you are, the easier it is to improve the AI.
