SimpleT Chatter Feed adds AI powered translation and optimization to Salesforce Chatter conversations. It enables multilingual post creation, bulk translation, message optimization, and complete conversation management within the Chatter interface.

Main Features

• Post new messages — Create posts directly from the component.
• Comment on posts — Add responses to any conversation.
• Translate in bulk — Select multiple items and translate to any language.
• View all posts and comments — See the complete conversation thread.
• Optimize messages — Improve clarity and professionalism before posting.
• Like posts — React to posts with a thumbs up.
• Edit and delete — Modify or remove posts and comments.
• Search and sort — Find posts by keywords or organize by date.
• Auto language detection — The system identifies the language automatically.

Quick Start

View the Feed

• All posts and comments appear in chronological order
• Click "More comments" to expand a comment thread

• Click "Less comments" to collapse it

Post a Message

1. Click "New Post" button

   

2. Type your message

1. (Optional) Click "Optimize" to improve the message
2. (Optional) Click "Translate" to convert to another language
   1. Click the dropdown arrow to open the translation settings
   2. Choose the target language
   3. Click the “Translate” button
3. Click "Publish"

Comment on a Post

1. Click the comment button on any post
2. Type your response in the comment box

1. (Optional) Use Optimize or Translate
2. Click "Post"

Translate Posts

1. Check the checkboxes next to items you want to translate

   

2. Click the "Translate" dropdown button

   

3. Select your target language from the dropdown

4. Select a translation engine (if available):

   • DeepL - Best quality
   • Google - Fast & reliable
   • AWS - Alternative option
   • AI - AI powered

   

5. Click "Translate" to translate all selected items

6. Translations appear below each item

Like a Post

• Click the thumbs up icon to like

• Click again to unlike

  

Edit or Delete

1. Click the menu button on any post/comment

2. Select "Edit" or "Delete"

   

3. If selected “Edit”, edit the text from the post/comment

Search Posts

• Type keywords in the search box at the top

• Press “Enter” to update the results

  

Refresh the Feed

• Click the refresh button (↻) to reload with latest posts
• Selected checkboxes will be cleared

Tips for Best Results

For Translations:

• Use clear, simple language in your original message
• Review translations before relying on them
• Complex or technical content may need adjustments

For Optimization:

• Optimize in your native language first
• Review changes before posting
• Edit if the AI changes your intended meaning

For Posting:

• Be clear and concise
• Provide context when needed
• Proofread before publishing
