The Retrieve Scheduler allows you to automatically retrieve selected metadata from your Salesforce org on a daily basis at a specified time. Paid users only.
Automate Metadata Retrieval with Retrieve Scheduler
What you can do
- Schedule automatic daily metadata retrieval.
- Select specific metadata types to retrieve.
Access Retrieve Scheduler
- Navigate to the Org Credentials section.
- Find the environment you want to configure.
- Select the Retrieve Scheduler button for that environment.
- The Retrieve Scheduler dialog opens for configuration.

Configure Retrieve Scheduler
- Select environment credentials
- Choose the Salesforce org credentials that the scheduler should use.
- Set retrieval time
- Time is specified in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
- The scheduler runs daily at the specified time.
- Select metadata types
- Choose which metadata types to retrieve automatically.
- You can select multiple metadata types.
- Set scheduler status
- Active: The scheduler runs at the specified time.
- Inactive: The scheduler is configured but does not run.
