Description

The XLIFF export process generates a downloadable translation file from SimpleTranslate. The exported file is then imported back into the Salesforce Translation Workbench to apply the completed translations.

Export from SimpleTranslate

• Click Export translation file from the top right corner in the XLIFF Metadata File Translator.

  There are two options for exporting:

  Complete File: Export the entire file with all translations.

  Selected Metadata: Export only the selected metadata.

• The file is downloaded to your device.

Import back to Salesforce

• Go to Salesforce Setup > User Interface > Translation Workbench > Import.
• Upload the ZIP or individual file from SimpleTranslate.
• Once the import is done, an email notification is received.
• Metadata translation is complete.
