Description

The Experience Cloud export process generates a downloadable translation file from SimpleTranslate containing completed translations. The exported file is then imported back into Salesforce Experience Builder to apply translations to the site.

Export from SimpleTranslate

• Click Export translation file from the top right corner in the Experience Cloud translator.

  There are two options for exporting:

  Complete File: Export the entire file with all translations.

  Selected Metadata: Export only the selected metadata.

• The file is downloaded to your device.

Import back to Salesforce

• Go back to Salesforce.

• Open Feature Settings > Digital Experiences > All Sites.

• Open the Site Builder for the site you translated (click on Builder).

• Go to Settings > Languages.

  For Aura Framework:

  • Click on Import Translation.
  • Import the translated file generated from SimpleTranslate.
  • The "Import Complete" confirmation should be visible.

  For Lightning Web Runtime:

  • Click on Import Translated Content in the Translations section.
  • The "Translated content imported" confirmation is visible.

Verify the translation

• Click the Earth icon from the top right in Experience Builder.
• Select a language for which you imported the translation.
• Components are translated based on the selected language.
