API Token management covers creation and administration of authentication tokens for SimpleTranslate API access. Tokens are used to authenticate external tools and integrations such as Salesforce.

How to create a token
- Open the Token section from the navigation bar.
- Select Add Token.
- Enter a token name.
- Optionally set an expiration date.
- Select Create to generate the token.
After creation, the token value is shown once. Make sure you copy and store it securely.
- Tokens can have an expiration date. After this date they become invalid.
- You can return to the Token section at any time to review or revoke existing tokens.
What a token is used for
- A token is used for authentication with third‑party tools such as Salesforce.
- Users and integrations use tokens to communicate securely with the SimpleTranslate application.
